We are beyond the moon thrilled & would recommend the hall for anyone in need of an event space. We visited Roma’s in January and, to our surprise, found our date to be available! From early on to the end of the event, we were welcomed with the most stellar customer service possible. Janet & Ana were our event coordinators. They have excellent communication - Emails were neatly organized, everything was kept track of, They were quick to answer any of our questions. They also gave excellent advice throughout the process. Anthony was our event manager for the evening of and he was an absolute delight. Of course there’s always some chaos in wedding planning, and at a few intervals, I had apologized to Anthony (how Canadian of me!). At one point, he looked at me with so much sincerity and kindness, and said “This is your day! You have nothing to apologize for - go and enjoy this day and let me figure everything out!” Him saying that literally melted all of my stress in that moment! The food was fantastic and was a hit from all of our guests. I personally had the chicken breast - It was so moist and delicious! The hall itself is beautiful all on its own - it has a regal, royal-quality to it with pillars and gold accents. Our decor just added to its elegance! Everything is immaculate in terms of cleanliness. All the staff was wonderful! Thank you so much, Roma’s, for everything! The menu options presented a great variety of steak, salmon, pasta dish and ratatouille vegetarian option, and the coordinator’s thoughtful recommendations made the meal both delicious and beautifully presented. All event details, including deposits and payment timelines, were clearly communicated and documented, so we always knew what to expect and when our input was needed. Service throughout the event was excellent. The party manager and staff checked in regularly, ensuring everything ran smoothly, and the bartender was friendly and attentive, even during casual walk-bys. Facilities were impressive, with a spacious and spotless ladies’ washroom and a reception area that was private and cozy, though slightly smaller than what we typically experience. The room’s elegant decor created a welcoming atmosphere, requiring minimal additional decoration. Areas for improvement included some feedback about the steaks being a bit overdone, however, it is hard to please everyone especially if the host chooses the doneness for everyone and a delayed dinner start due to late guest arrival. Parking was noted as limited, and the venue was somewhat challenging to locate, especially with the ongoing construction nearby. Lastly, the coffee and tea station was sufficient but could benefit from a more polished setup.
